Each year The Poca Valley Bank invites students of all ages to send in original Christmas cards to be judged for a chance to win some amazing prizes. The theme for the cards are anything Christmas, with the purpose of the artwork being used on the front of a Christmas card.
Any students from preschool age to high school could compete it this competition for a chance to win prizes and make their beautiful artwork into a Christmas card.
Prizes consisted of a 1st place winner from each school receiving a $25 gift card. Each of these winners were placed in the running for the Grand Prize Winner. Grand Prize Winners received the following: 1st Place will have their artwork featured on our Christmas card and receive a $100 gift card; 2nd place selection will receive a $75 gift card; 3rd place selection will receive a $50 gift card; and $25 gift cards will be awarded to category winners including General Appeal, Subject, Creativity, and Composition.
H.E. White was one of the schools participating in this competition and had several beautiful cards submitted. The 1st place winners were Carliegh Neal and Millie Taylor, who received $25 gift cards.
