It was that time again last week for pageant gowns, hair, and makeup, all for a chance at one of the coveted Clay County Golden Delicious Queen titles. After a year of no pageants due to COVID, many came out to enjoy their time on the stage this year.
On Saturday morning the children’s pageant was held at the Summersville Arena and Convention Center. Little girls dressed in their best and flashed those smiles to wow the judges. The task of choosing from each group was no small task, as all were simply beautiful.
Title Winners were:
Infant Miss- Abigail Oney. 1st Runner Up- Paisley Murphy
Baby Miss- Annabella Woods. 1st Runner Up- Symphoni Williams
Toddler Miss- Kendall Taylor. 2nd Runner Up- Kynadee Gillespie, 1st runner Up- Elleyona Davies.
Tiny Miss- Evie Stark. 2nd Runner Up- Runner Up Regan Dixon, 1st Runner Up- Xuri Harrison.
Little Miss- Brylee Holbrook. 2nd Runner Up- Hadleigh Milam, 1st Runner Up- Allie Haynes
Pre-Teen- Hannah Gandee. 2nd Runner Up- Libby Dawson, 1st Runner Up- Jovi Harrison
Fan Favorite- Paisly Murphy
Overall Most Beautiful- Hannah Gandee
Overall Most Personality- Evie Stark

Saturday evening thirty-one ladies competed for the Miss, Mrs, Teen, Ms., and Jr. Miss titles. Each contestant competed in Personal Style, Interview, and Evening Gown. After an evening of glitz and glamour, the title holders were announced, and the Queens were:
