In May 2015, Dr. R.B. Legg retired from the Clay County Board of Education after 29 years.
The Clay County Free Press published an article of the event titled, “Dr. Legg retires after 29 years.” He wishes to clarify that he only retired from the Board of Education, not dentistry. Many people mistakenly thought he had also retired from dentistry due to the misleading headline, which is not the case. Dr. Legg has practiced dentistry continuously for the past 43 years. He says his health is excellent, and that he has no plans to retire.
The Clay County Free Press apologizes for the confusion.
