Dobbins and Miller crowned king and queen

Big Otter Spring Carnival King and Queen Gunner Dobbins and Mackenzie Miller

Congratulations to Gunner Dobbins and Makenzie Miller, who were crowned king and queen of the Big Otter Elementary School Spring Carnival on May 5.

Dobbins is in Jessica Taylor’s pre-school class. He is the son of Philip and Stephanie Dobbins and the grandson of Keith and Libby Sloan and Reverends Don and Wilma Dobbins.

Miller is in Mrs. Mark’s Pre-School class. She is the daughter of Andrea Stevens.  Her grandparents are Pam Murphy and Maxine Miller.

The annual school carnival was a big success. The children had a wonderful time, and the school raised money for items and supplies needed for the upcoming school year.

Congratulations also to the following students who were selected as princes and princesses from each of their respective classrooms: preK – Paxton – Sydney Cadle and Cale Blake, preK – Marks – Makenzie Miller and Ethan Metheney, preK – Taylor – Gunner Dobbins, kindergarten – Collins – Madison Gray and Kaleb Keen, kindergarten – McKinney – Katelyn Murphy and Pierce Tanner, first grade – Jarvis – Lacey Sizemore and Paxton Gumm, first grade – Dorsey – Abigail Grandon and Phillip Rogers, second grade – Knopp – Lainey Nichols and Jesse Murphy, second grade – Douglas – Cheyenne Taylor and Seth Robinson, third grade – Underwood – McKenzie Taylor, third grade – Helmick – Prezlei Tanner and Payton Bragg, fourth grade – Burns – Lainee Thompson, fourth grade – Kleman – Jaylnn Robinson and Cory McKinney, and fifth grade – Chapman – Haley Chapman and Colt Hammond.

Mr. Boggs would like to thank the PTO, parents, community leaders, faculty, and staff who supported this event. He would also like to thank all those who donated items who helped make it all possible. Our students benefit tremendously from your efforts. You are very much appreciated!
