Community Shows Clay County Seniors Support

It was a chilly morning in Clay as cars lined up at the old IGA to prepare for the senior parade, but that didn’t stop the community from coming out to show support. Deliciously Vivid arranged the senior parade and invited all Clay County School Board employees, high school seniors, and all county fifth and eighth graders to decorate vehicles and participate in this reorganization event.

Each vehicle was decorated, displaying their students’ accomplishments, dreams, and ambitions. Residents lined the streets to congratulate these individuals as they passed by.  This event was organized to show senior students that even though their school year was not a typical one, that Clay County was still proud of their hard work and excited for their futures.

Congratulations to the graduating class of 2020 and to the upcoming Clay County Middle School students and the upcoming freshman.  A big thank you to all those who were involved in making this possible, and to the community for coming out to support these students.
