Clay County schools have no problem showing their respect and gratitude to veterans here in our county, as well as to all Veterans, including those currently serving.  Each school presents a program full of songs, the National Anthem, poems, voices of thankfulness and gratitude, slide shows of fallen soldiers who attended CCHS, and a candlelight service at CCHS for Veteran’s Day. Each year, it is one of the most anticipated and respected programs that each school presents to show the veterans how much they are appreciated.
