Local athletes from the Clay Royalty Cheer Athletics attended the Apex Justice League competition in Lexington, Kentucky at the Lexington Convention Center on Jan. 26. Clay Royalty Cheer Athletic’s team of 3-6 year olds brought home fourth place in their division at the competition. Solo cheerleader Thea Edgar brought home first place in Tiny Level 1, and won a bid to the finals in Florida.
Clay Royalty Cheer Atletics opened in March of 2024 in the old Foodland building in Clay, and this was their first competition season. Visit www.claycrca.com for more information.
