Clay County now has their own recycling location!

Clay Recycling, owned and operated by WT Bevins, recently opened Clay County’s only recycling location at the old Dawson’s Body Shop location, just past GoMart going towards Maysel at 276 Procious Maysel Road, Maysel, WV. Clay Recycling works to serve the community for non ferrous recycling needs from Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Some things that are accepted at Clay Recycling are stainless, radiators, brass, batteries, aluminum, copper, miscellaneous items such as die cast, magnesium and electronic motors. Non ferrous means that a magnet does not stick to it. Any of these items are accepted at Clay Recycling.

Clay Recycling will soon be providing a roll off container for the public to drop off any unwanted  ferrous metal, appliances, etc. That should be arriving within the next week or so.

Until they get used to the ever changing market, the prices will be posted weekly at Clay Recycling, or you may call 304-587-4220 and they will be more than happy to help you with any questions you may have!
