Late Friday night, March 3, a teenager was shot in the leg at a party on Independence Mountain along Coleman Drive in Lizemores.
He was flown by HealthNet to CAMC with non-life threatening injuries. The victim was 17 years of age.
The suspect, Daniel Craddock, 26, of Wallback was arrested and is facing charges of malicious wounding.
It is unclear of what prompted the shooting. An investigation proceeds.
