The 2017 Clay County Golden Delicious Apple Festival pageant was held on Saturday at the Clay County High School Auditorium.
Earlier in the day 17 beautiful ladies gathered at the high school to prepare themselves for the events for the pageant. Hair, makeup, beautiful sparkly gowns, shoes, jewelry, all the things needed to compete filled the area. Each year, those who compete wish for their name to be called as the queen of the division they are competing in.
Your 2017 Golden Delicious Apple Festival Court is as follows:
Teen Division: Taylor Osborn, Queen; Abigail Moore, 1st runner up; Alexandria Spiker, Runner up.
Ms. Division: Maika Mcintyre, Queen.
Miss Division: Morgan Purlsey, Queen.
Mrs. Division: Christy Cayton, Queen.
Christy Cayton also was awarded Ms. Photogenic, and Billy Williams was awarded Ms. Congeniality.
0-11 months: Jaylee Huffman, Little Miss Golden Delicious.
12-23 months: Maykynlee Hammons, Miss Golden Delicious Seedling.
2-4 division: Stella Hayhurst, Golden Delicious Blossom.
5-7 division: Marleigh Stiles, Little Miss Golden Delicious.
8-10 division: Ally Vintorini, Golden Delicious Pre- Teen.
11-12 division: Taylor Owens, Jr. Miss Golden Delicious.
