The Clay County Commission met on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 for their regularly scheduled meeting.
A motion to approve the minutes from the previous meeting was approved. A motion to approve the bills and purchase orders as presented was approved. A motion to approve Erroneous Assessments as presented by the Assessor was approved. A motion to approve the “Request of Waiver of Final Settlement” for the estates of Paul Edward Moore, Franklin L. Pierson and John Fredrick Woofter, deceased, was approved. A motion to approve the resignation of William Stephenson as dispatcher for the Clay County E911 Communication Center effective November 8, 2017 was approved. A motion to change the employment status of Glenda Metheny from part-time to full-time dispatcher for the Clay County E911 Communications Center was approved. A motion to designate Becky Pritt as Deputy Director for Clay County E911 Communications Center at the rate of $12.00 per hour effective November 22, 2017 was approved.
A motion to approve an “Annual Maintenance Agreement” for a C4503 copier located in the Prosecuting Attorney’s office. Maintenance Agreement is for November 10, 2017 through November 9, 2018 in the amount of $480.00, was approved. A motion to approve a list of property that is listed on the 2016 Land Book that needs suspended from the November 2017 Sheriff’s delinquent land sale was approved. A motion to approve an Audit Report for the Clay County Public Library for fiscal years ending June 30, 2016 and June 30, 2017 was approved. A motion to approve an updated Clay County Mass Vaccination and Dispensing Plan-Strategic National Stockpile Plan with updated contact information was approved. A motion to approve Resolution No. 16 authorizing payment of invoices relating to design, construction and other services for the Pack Fork and Independence Road water line extension project was approved. A motion to approve a quote from Steve Campbell & Associates to provide support and maintenance for a Myracle 12-CH Analog Recorder including HP Workstation for Clay County E911 Communications Center was approved. The contract period is for January 1, 2018 through December 31, 2018 in the amount of $2,000.00. A motion to approve a list of Real Estate Purchased for the State of West Virginia, Sold to Individuals, Redeem Prior to Sale and Suspended by the Sheriff for delinquent 2016 taxes was approved.
