Clay County High School hosted a Wellness Day on Friday, Dec. 2, 2022, featuring a range of activities and resources focused on promoting health and preparedness in the community. One of the highlights of the event was the presence of Clay County CERT (Community Emergency Response Team), who distributed preparedness materials and recruited volunteers.
In addition to recruiting new volunteers, CERT also registered blood donors at the event. Blood donations are critical for maintaining a healthy and reliable supply for those in need, and CERT was pleased to have the opportunity to encourage community members to give blood and make a difference in the lives of others.
The Wellness Day at Clay County High School was a great success, with many community members taking advantage of the resources and activities on offer. Clay County CERT is grateful to have had the opportunity to participate in the event and promote the organization’s mission of promoting preparedness and resilience in the community.
