Clay Afterschool Program (CAP) students know learning is fun. From talking math mats to the Fall Block Party, these students are learning new skills and enjoying themselves.
The talking math mat helps student with number recognition and counting, as well as practice addition and subtraction. Students simply tap or step on the correct answer.
Afterschool students at each of the elementary schools were provided transportation to and from the Fall Block Party sponsored by Clay County High School. While there, students participated in a variety of games and had the opportunity to choose a free book to enjoy reading at home. Four evenings per week, CAP teachers are providing interesting and rewarding learning experiences for students. Make sure your child is part of the fun!
