Big Otters places first in spelling bee

Congratulations to these Big Otter Braves for their hard work: Aliya Brannon – 1st place, Silas Starcher – 3rd place, Rachel Shamblin – 9th Place, Sophia Boggs – 17th place, Jamie Nicholas – 20th place, and David Ferrell – alternate.

Big Otter Elementary School placed first place in the 2023 Clay County Elementary Spelling Bee! They were also able to bring the county’s Traveling Trophy back to their school for the year.
