Fresh produce was abundant at Big Otter Elementary School during the school’s farmer’s market! With a program through the WVU Extension Agency, students were able to use vouchers to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables from both local and out of state farmers. Students purchased peaches, eggplants, tomatoes, corn, peppers, and many other varieties of produce. Thank you to all the farmers who participated and shared their crops with our students, and to Rena Hubbard, along with the WVU Extension Agency, for helping organize this fun event.
