The 2017 Clay County High School Golden Delicious Apple Festival Art Auction will be held on September 16. CCHS art students will display and sell their art work. The public is invited to view and participate in the auction.
Visit the Clay County Commissioners room in the courthouse to view the student’s artwork on Saturday morning. After 10 a.m. come see who won the ribbons!
The schedule is as follows:
9 a.m., judging of the art.
10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., public viewing of the art inside the courthouse in the commissioner’s room.
2 p.m. (immediately after the parade), art auction conducted by Jeannie Davis in front of the courthouse (main court house stage).
There will be donations from last years’ 2017 seniors sold at the art auction. The artists participating in the auction are Taylor Adkins, Baylie Triplett, Dakota Fugate, Zack Myers, Tressie Mullins, Jessica Lanham, Autumn Mcmillion, Emmi Cottrell, Courtney Nottingham, Katelyn Holcomb , and Samantha Young. Don’t miss out! These donations will be the last pieces of art by these students to be sold at the art auction.
The 2017-18 students with two or three pieces to be auctioned are Alexis Blake, Chris Canter, Kenzi Sears, Victoria Humphrey, Caitlin Belt, Alyssa Helms, Kaylin Ahart, Kaylie Humphrey, Allison Jackson, Rebekah Morgan, Hayden Morris, Ronee Nottingham, Carly Osborne, and Chelsea Workman.
