AEF Summer interns spent last week learning about rope safety and rescues in Clay County.
Under the guidance of experienced instructors Adam Landers, Eric Thomas, and Jeremy Higginbotham, the interns learned how to use basic rope systems safely in the wilderness.
On Thursday, July 11, the interns utilized practical application in a real-world setting for ascending and descending and basic patience rescue, allowing student interns to apply their knowledge throughout the wilderness of the Adaptive Experimentation Facility at Fort Andrew.
