EnAct Community Action’s Workforce Development Program offers unique workforce development and educational opportunities to low-income individuals seeking to gain employment. Tuition assistance is available for the medical, mining, chemical, construction and other fields. EnAct will also assist with the cost of specialized clothing, books, gas cards and most other obstacles preventing employment. EnAct partners with Community & Technical Colleges, Career Centers, local Certified Instructors and other resources so participants have the best opportunity to better themselves.
This program ensures that job seekers have access to the resources they need in order to better their lives, even if someone has never been able to afford these opportunities before. “A lot of doors close when you can’t afford training, transportation and other job necessities. EnAct Community Action is here to help open those doors,” said Brent Pauley, CEO of EnAct.
