A sequel to the 2008 Will Ferrell comedy, “Step Brothers,” is set to be filmed in Morgantown this summer. Reports claim that original cast members Ferrell, John C. Reilly, Adam Scott, Mary Steenburgen, Richard Jenkins, and others will return.

The producers released a short description of the upcoming film in a press release: “The two step brothers have moved to Morgantown, WV, where they live together and also work together at the same menial job. Dale finds out that he’s somehow impregnated his ‘girlfriend’ but when the young woman leaves the new baby with Dale and Brennan the two are left to raise the child themselves.”

A casting call for extras from the Morgantown area will begin in a few months.
