The theme for this year’s Schoonover Family Reunion is “Come Home 2018.”  This year’s reunion is scheduled for the Saturday of Fathers’ Day weekend,  June 16, at the J.G. Bradley Campgrounds at Clay, West Virginia.

The entire campgrounds is reserved including overnight accommodations.  Those interested in staying overnight one or two nights need to notify Vickie on Facebook: Vickie Osborne Brown, telephone 304-587-2925.

Anyone interested in the one day’s activities can receive more information by simply requesting so with Vickie. There will be activities for all ages with prizes and gifts given. Bring a covered dish and rekindle your family heritage through a variety of avenues that is certain to renew your interest and emotions from the lineage of the sons and daughters of Adam and Lenora Schoonover.

Part of the one day event schedule includes a corn hole tournament, multiple auctions of items, prizes and gifts, trips to special grave sites with planting of flowers, viewing of family heritage items brought for display, and the sharing of family heritage of others through books, personal family mementos, pictures, and other items supplying information of ancestral life relating to those whose inheritance is from the lives of Adam and Lenora Schoonover.

Reserve the weekend of Fathers’ Day today.  Share with others the importance of being there for this event.  Everyone else will be excitedly waiting for you to arrive, so Come Home 2018 this summer.
