After months of construction and traffic delays, pavement is sprouting on Route 4. The roadway, previously littered with potholes, is getting a facelift and now, for the most part, a new smooth surface. The project is just half of the surfacing that needs done on a dastardly stretch of Route 4. The portion closest to the Town of Clay will be complete within 2 weeks. Resurfacing on the latter section is scheduled to start in March or April. Until the project is complete the D.O.T recommends drivers use caution and beware of flaggers and construction equipment that may be present.
