Patrick Henry Community College will hold Engineering Technology Camp for rising 10th and 11th grade students Monday-Friday, June 26-30 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Lunch will be provided.
The cost is $20 for a class valued at $250.
During this hands-on, project-based camp, students will work in the Fab Lab, learning to use equipment such as the laser engraver, CNC router, and vinyl cutter.
Camp participants will work together to learn to produce a product while employing the steps of the manufacturing process from design to production. Products will be evaluated by a team of judges and the winner will receive two months of FREE access to the Fab Lab!
The class will be held at the Dalton IDEA Center, 26 Fayette Street in Martinsville.
