Deliciously Vivid and the Clay County Lions Club have decided to partner together to spread some joy and blessing to our community. As most of you know, they have recently been raising money for the holidays.
They plan to offer 15 to 20 Thanksgiving boxes to working Clay County citizens. You must contact them to be added to the list, as they will be buying food from the local market and want to make sure they order the correct amounts. (You can now nominate families for Thanksgiving boxes). Please contact one of the groups to be added to the list and they will notify you of the pickup time and location for the boxes.
For Christmas, they will be accepting applications from working Clay County citizens to provide support, as we are all working individuals who have had our own struggles. We want to provide help for those who are generally overlooked during this time. There are plenty of income based options, but very few that provide help to those who do not receive public assistance. We would like to help fill that gap. We will gladly accept applications for children ages birth- 17.
On the application, which is available now, there will be a wish list. We will try to provide those items, but of course that is not a guarantee that children will receive those items. After you are accepted we will notify you and then set up a time for pick up.
