Due to bad weather and so many activities going on the past couple of months with holidays and things, it has been difficult to get the majority of everyone together, but, it’s better late than never to give recognition for the accomplishments of students!
Lizemore Elementary School rewards students each month and character students of the month. There are also Paw awards given.
To be chosen as Student of the Month, students must exhibit a good work ethic, try their best at all they do and have a positive attitude. To be chosen as Character Student of the Month, students must exhibit a kind heart, think of others first and be honest. And, the highest award of them all, Paw Power award, to be chosen for this award, students must be a living model of the Golden Rule: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
In November, the students of the month are as follows: Preschool; Tyler Holcomb and Landon Stover, and Cruz Cottrell (character student). Kindergarten; Gabby Cottrell, Haze Vance and Erin Bowe (character student). 1st grade; Karmen Dorsey, Axle Ramsey and Peyton Price (character student). 2nd grade; Jakoby Nichols, Christian Johnson and Levi Morris (character student). 3rd grade; Mason Sears, Jason Sizemore and Jaycie Bird (character student). 4th grade; Jake Sizemore, Taylor Boner and Jaden Miller (character student). 5th grade; Charlie Cottrell, Hailey Neal and Jacob Morton (character student). Paw Award was awarded to Brookelyn Morton and Madison Morton.

Kindergarten; Adrianna Truman, Joel Elliott and Skylar Taylor (character student). 1st grade; Presley Shamblin, Simon Holcomb and Zoey Jones (character student). 2nd grade; Jonah Moore, Katie Price and Zach Truman (character student). 3rd grade; Keaira Asbury, Gracie Perdue and Avery Brouillard (character student). 4th grade; Wesley Bevins, Bryson Johnston and Danny Price (character student). 5th grade; Shelby Holcomb, Hunter Evans and Adrianna Lee (character student).

Kindergarten; Sara Ramsey, Isiah Woods and Brooke Morton (character student). 1st grade; Brayden Stone, Jaylyn Holcomb, and Mathew Jones (character student). 2nd grade; Mason Miller, Lacy Stone and Britney Foster (character student). 3rd grade; Conor Neal, Jaycie Bird, and Caleb Chennault (character student). 4th grade; BJ Williams, Jamison Bodkins and Nathan Truman (character student). 5th grade; PJ Johnson, Darrell Moore and Eliza Ramsey (character student).
