Hunter D. Jones, son of Tracey and Brooke Jones of Lizemore, has been named Clay County High School’s Class of 2020 Valedictorian. Jones will be attending Glenville State to get an undergraduate in Chemistry, and plans to attend law school after.
Jones has been accepted to the honors college at Glenville and received a track scholarship, accepting the offer to be a decathlete on their track team. Hunter has always enjoyed and exceled in track, his favorite events being pole vaulting, hurdles, and high jump.
Jones is a member of the Clay County High Schools National Honor Society, where he serves as President, a TSA secretary, a 2nd place young writer winner, and a We the People State Champion. Congratulations Hunter Jones, and the entire graduating class of 2020!
