Clay Health Department will hold a health fair on April 8, 2014 from 7:30 am to 11:30 am at the Clay Health Department. There will be free bone density testing, a diabetic educator, chair massages, free blood testing for the first 100 participants, and refreshments. The Health Fair is sponsored by Clay County Health Department, Clay Development/Senior Center, Clay Family Resource Network and Putnam Aging.
There will be two blood tests available, and both require fasting – no food or drink after midnight. Test #1 includes CBC (infections test), CMP (Electrolytes, Lipids (Cholesterol. This test will cost $19.00 after the first 100 participants. Test #2 is a PSA (Prostate Cancer Screening) for men and will cost $10 after the first 100 participants.
