On Thursday, July 29, 2021 the WVU Clay County Extension Services and Clay County Family Resource Network hosted a free pool day at the Clay County Pool. Honoring grandparents for Grandparents Appreciation Day with some fun in the sun.
Admission was free with activities, swimming, and prizes throughout the afternoon. Healthy snacks were provided and two brand new bikes were given away to two lucky winners. Every child received a door prize, no one left empty handed.
This event was a big success, as many showed up to swim, soak up the sunshine, and provide Clay County children with some great prizes.
