Big Otter Elementary School is excited to begin a new reading program called “One School, One Book.” This program helps promote family literacy and engagement. The book is Charlotte’s Web, and students are very excited!
During the month of October and the beginning of November, students and families will read a chapter from Charlotte’s Web each evening together at home. On the next school day, students will then explore and celebrate the chapter at school. Students are asked trivia questions, complete creative activities, and experience assemblies based on the book!
Staff members will be recording themselves reading a chapter – this will be posted to the school’s Facebook page. This is an exciting program for students, families, and staff members!
