Clay County School’s fifth grade students competed in a t-shirt design contest for the 2018 Wallback Fishing Derby.
This year’s design winner is H.E. White Elementary fifth grade student Hollie Conley. Hollie’s design, with the theme “Hooked on Fishing not drugs!” sported a blue fish with the logo on the hook. The design was placed on bright yellow shirts.
The runner up design also came from an H.E. White Elementary fifth grade student, Zachary Rucker. Hollie received a $50 prize. Zachary received a $25 prize. Congratulations to Hollie and Zachary!
