This year’s fall luncheon was held on September 13 at Hardings Restaurant in Mink Shoals. It turned out very nice with a beautiful day, good fellowship, and delicious food.

Those attending were Inez Murphy Maggio, Eloise Boggs, Mary King Laurence, Joyce Samples Tucker Dean, Marlene Cooper Potasnik, Lenora Boggs Pettit, Christene Moore Beaver, Deacon and Katy Walker and daughter, Arthur and Alpha Boggs, Sandra Chapman Claybrook, Gary and Joni McLaughlin, Norma Chapman, and Zelma Murphy Heater. We had two new people join us: Jimmy Ray Kerr (1948) and Wanda Gray Chambers (1954.) It’s always good to see new faces!

We are sorry about the mix up on the time. Remember there will be another luncheon in June 2018. The luncheon is always at 12:30 p.m. We apologize to Loretta Mollohan Nichols and her daughter, who came from Bluefield, and anyone else that might have come too late.

Thanks to Christene Moore Beaver for making the arrangements and calling to remind people. She was not aware that the time was wrong in the paper.
