Last Monday evening, Clay county resident Carson Brown was surprised with a Pirate Ship Playset from Make A Wish foundation. Carson, 3, has had a long year battling a cancerous tumor. Carson and his family got to enjoy a nice dinner at Gino’s provided by the Make A Wish Foundation and then Carson and was able to ride in a fire truck from Clay Vol. Fire Department from Gino’s to his house where he was surprised with his Playset. Cake and ice cream followed his surprise. Carson will be going in for more testing soon to make sure his tumor is still not receiving blood flow and will continue testing periodically to keep a watch to make sure everything is going well.
