“Needs of People with Disabilities in Our Community”
WV Statewide Independent Living Council will host a “Brown Bag” Lunch on Thursday, September 24, 2015 from Noon – 2:00 p.m. at the Northern WV Center for Independent Living, 109 Randolph Ave, Elkins, WV 25241
Bring your lunch and participate in a discussion about the needs of people with disabilities in your area.
This is your opportunity to talk about what you/people with disabilities need and what should be included in the next State Plan for Independent Living (SPIL). The SPIL governs how federal and state independent living funds are spent.
If you need a sign language interpreter or other accommodation in order to participate in this public meeting, please contact Kathi Young in the SILC office by Sept 17, 2015 at: 304-766-4624 or 1-855-855-9743 or kathi.young@wvsilc.org.
