AARP is pleased to announce that a REFRESHER safe driving class has been scheduled. It will be held on Monday, the 24th of August, at the Braxton County Senior Center. This class is intended for those individuals who have completed an AARP Safe Driving class sometime in the past. The class will begin at 9:00 AM, and run through until 2:00 PM with a 1/2 hour break for lunch. (Senior Center lunch is served from 11:30-12:30; you would pay the Center for your lunch) Cost for the class is $15.00 for a member of AARP and $20.00 for non-members. You may pay at the start of the class-preferably by check payable to AARP, or cash is acceptable. Please bring your AARP membership card with you to receive the member price.
The Senior Center has plenty of parking available. The building is handicap accessible, and air conditioned. No alcohol, drugs, or firearms are permitted on Senior Center property.
