Plans for the 6th Annual Wallback Lake Youth Fishing Derby are under way. It will be held on April 19th, 2014 at the Wallback Lake (aka Sampson Lake), Wallback, West Virginia.
The 2013 derby had over 200 children, from 9 counties, ranging from the ages of preschool thru 14 years of age. This event runs totally on the donations we receive and it all goes back to the young sportsmen.
We understand the economy is not like it use to be. So…we are challenging candidates, businesses, civic organizations and the public to Support Today’s Youth, and provide one (1) fishing tackle of choice for the giveaways for all the children that register
