The West Virginia department of environmental protection and Fola Coal Company LLC (Fola) have proposed a settlement of a consent order which resolves violation(s) of the West Virginia water pollution control act. In accordance with the proposed consent order, Fola has agreed to pay administration penalties and to comply with the act. Final settlement is subject to comments received during the thirty (30) day period ending 09/10/2016.
