As most of you probably know, the funding for The Clay County Public Library has been cut and if significant money is not raised during this year, our library will close next summer.
How can you help? Please consider becoming part of the Clay County Public Library’s new elite “51 club?” That group will be made up of 51 people in our community who donate $51.00 for the 51 years Clay has had a library. Checks can be made out to “614 Supporters” and dropped off or mailed to the library (P.O. Box 60, Clay, WV 25043). Club members will be recognized in the newspapers and their names will appear on a plaque in the library.
If you are interested in helping save the library, come to the next 614 Supporters meeting Tuesday September 10th at 6:00 at Gino’s. Everyone is welcome! For more information, call Roberta at 587-2949.
