The Clay Health Department has announced the Walk for Women – Take a Step Against Breast Cancer walk will take place at Maysel Park in Clay, WV on Saturday, October 12, 2013. Registration is at 9 am and the walk begins at 10 am. Please call 304-587-4389. Every dollar benefits the West Virginia Breast and Cervical Cancer Diagnostic and Treatment Fund.
Statewide sponsors are Southern West Virginia Health Center and Lincoln Primary Care Center, Inc., Mountains of Hope, WV Cancer Coalition, Wheeling Hospital, Cabell Huntington Hospital, TeleTech, Princeton Community Hospital, WV Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening Program and the Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center at WVU.
