The Rite Aid staff held a fundraiser this past week to benefit the Children’s Miracle Network. The two hour long event featured gospel singing by the trio Sisters in Christ as well as hot dogs and a variety of baked goods for sale. $477.00 was raised and will be donated to the charity. The event was part of an ongoing series of fund raisers held by the Rite Aid store on Main Street. Look for more chances to donate in the near future.

Donations received by the Children’s Miracle Network are distributed to 170 children’s hospitals across the United States and Canada where the money will be used to support research and training, purchase equipment, and pay for uncompensated care, all in support of the mission to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible. An astounding 62 children per minute enter a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital in need of medical care. To be a part of the healing miracle, visit http://childrensmiraclenetworkhospitals.org
