Late Friday evening a rental trailer at Maysel owned by Michael K. Sizemore Jr. was totally gutted. According to Sizemore the tenants were in the process of moving out. Tenants Karen Brown and Lyndon Metheney were recently released from Central Regional Jail. Metheney was in jail for burglary, destruction of property, grand larceny, and two counts of conspiracy and Brown had been charged with connection to the burglary and conspiracy. The family lost everything inside the home. Despite the quick response from the Clay Volunteer Fire Department, the structure was a total loss.
