Sign up to be part of this year’s Elk River Fest Parade! Help us celebrate our unique river environment and proud mountain heritage.
The parade will be held on June 6 at 1:00 in downtown Clay. Everyone is invited to participate. Trophies will be given for the best parade float and best parade marcher.
This year we are challenging local businesses and offices to participate and compete for the title of Best of the Best representative for our community’s local business structure. You’ll get to proudly display your certificate and trophy in your store or office. So we are calling the local businesses out….let’s see Dollar General take on the Dollar Store….The Sheriff’s Office take on the County Clerk’s Office… Subway take on Gino’s…Piggly Wiggly take on Rite Aid…The Communicator take on the Free Press. You don’t need a float…dress up in costumes, ride a horse, drive a car, walk your pet, play an instrument… do a little dance.
