Voters across the state lined up to cast their early votes on Wednesday, October 22 including those here in Clay County. A constant increase in early votes has been seen in the past few years, with a substantial number of the county’s ballots being cast in that manner. Early voting continues through November 1 and takes place at the Clay County Clerk’s office during the hours of 8am-4pm Monday through Friday and from 9am-5pm on Saturday. If you choose not to vote early, ballots will be accepted at polling places on election day, November 4 from 6:30am until 7:30pm. Exercise your rights and vote!
