Hello, my name is David William Pierson, Jr. I am running for Clay County Board of Educations. I am currently serving as vice president of the Clay County Board of Education after being elected to fill an unexpired term in November of 2014.
I find serving on the Clay County Board of Education very rewarding. I like helping the students and the employees alike. Even though now is a tough time to be doing this job because our budget is tight and may get even tighter. I find the people of Clay County to be energetic and resourceful. Our students work hard, so do our school personnel. When we do have a problem, even though it may take some work, we do try as hard as we can to come to a solution that is good for everyone. The one thing I never have to worry about is being proud of Clay County Schools for they are known far and wide for their great kids. I would be proud to serve as your Board Member and ask you for your vote.
