County Commission Appoints Election Officials for May 10 Primary

County Commission met on March 9. Items on the agenda that were approved are as follows: the appointment of Scott David Young, Executor DBN of the estate of Junior Camdon Young, deceased; the request of waiver of final settlement for the estates of Junior Camdon Young, Zola Sears Triplett, Larry Keith Neal and Peggy Lou Ross, deceased; the “final settlement report” for the estate of Bobby Dale Tanner, deceased and discharge of Phyllis June Thorne, Administratrix; the appointment of election officials for the May 10, 2016 Primary Election; the resignation of Kyle Ware as Deputy Sheriff effective February 19, 2016; the appointment of Donald Jarvis and Donald Gill as Emergency Absentee Ballot Commissioners for the May 10, 2016 Primary Election. Alternates will be Sheila Stone and Stacy King. The following item was not passed, needing further details: the amendment to the Clay County E911 Communications Center operations manual: “State of Emergency Operations” procedures. The next meeting will be on March 23rd 2016 at 10:00AM.
