Adults and children gathered together at the Clay County Middle School on March 29-30 for a hunter’s education course. The class is designed to produce responsible, knowledgeable, and involved hunters. Hunters need to understand the importance of complying with the hunting laws and behaving ethically. These programs are designed to give the beginners a good foundation and provide a refresher for veteran hunters. The mission of the hunter’s education program is to ensure the continuation of the hunting tradition. There were a total of 23 students in attendance of the class to learning the importance of being responsible with guns, bows, etc.
