Brooklyn Paige Burford, age 12, from Clay County, WV traveled to Los Angeles this summer to compete in the week long Miss America Pageant. Brooklyn’s picture was not available last week at press time. Brooklyn was one of 47 contestants contending for title of Pre-Teen Miss America. She was crowned Miss Congeniality, Most Photogenic, and First Runner-Up. Brooklyn is the daughter of Tim and Pam Taylor and sister to Mackenzie. She is also a 6th grade student at Clay County Middle School.
