Clay County High School art students will display and sell their art work at the Clay County Golden Delicious Apple Festival.
Thank you for your and future support of CCHS art students, and for furthering their interest in developing their artistic skills. Visit the Clay County Commission room in the Clay County Courthouse to view the students’ art work on Saturday morning, Sept. 17, from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Previously, at 9 a.m., the judging of the art will have taken place. At 2 p.m. the Clay County High School art display and art auction will be conducted by Jeannie Davis. The auction will take place right after the parade on the Main Courthouse Stage.
There will be donations from last years’ 2016 seniors sold at the art auction. These artists include Tyler Duffield, Logan Knopp, Ashley Aiello, Jocelyn Garten, Rachel Phillips, and Brittany Summers. (Don’t miss out! These donations will be the last piece of art by these students to be sold at the Apple Festival Art Auction.)
Current art students with art pieces to be auctioned off are: Art IV: Autumn McMillion; Art III: Taylor Adkins, Emily Cottrell, Dakota Fugate, Jessica Lanham, Zachary Myers, Courtney Nottingham, Jessie Posey, and Emily Rhodes; Art II: Alexia Blake, Brianna Bostic, Christophe Canter, Alexis Cummings, Victoria Humphrey, Mackenzie Sears, Allisia Taylor, Baylie Triplett, Katelyn Holcomb, and Samantha Young.
