The Panther wrestling team travelled to Braxton County this weekend for the Braxton Invitional tournament.
This tournament is one of the biggest in the state with 22 teams from all over competing.
The Panther team is on a rebuild year but is still making their presence know on the mats. Once again, Ryan Stewart whipped all in his 195 lb. weight bracket and came out on top as champion for the second week in a row. Joel Cruikshanks brings home a third place finish and Andrew Stutler takes sixth place.
Overall, the team placed 11th in the tournament.
The Panthers will be back in action at the Liberty Harris Region II duals this weekend.
Put January 28 on your calendars — the Bob Stover Classic will be held at CCHS starting at 10 AM.
Go Panthers!
