The cosmos seems to have decided that the Lady Panthers will have another tough season. They opened up their season against Calhoun, and it looked like the season was going to be a hot one.
The Lady Panthers pulled out the big bats and proceeded to whip the Lady Red Devils 20- 6, but that’s been it.
Whether it has been due to voodoo, just plain bad breaks or errors, it’s hard to say. They travelled all the way to South Carolina to participate in the Myrtle Beach Ripken Experience. It was a long way to go to get your bats handed to you as they lost all five games. When they returned, they had a two game home stretch against Ravenswood and Buffalo.
Neither game yielded any runs for the Lady Panthers as they dropped those games 0-8 and 0-19. The Lady Panthers will have several games this week to try and get back on track. They match bats with Richwood away on Thursday and play double headers against Hannan Senior Middle and Roane County on April 4th and the 5th.
Let’s hope the Lady Panthers can find the bats in the bag again this week, weather permitting. Get your schedules and get out and catch a game. Go Lady Panthers!
