Small Town Market owner Sarah Williams was been named the 2020 West Virginia Wonder Woman. Sarah opened Small Town Market in early 2020 when Clay County was left without a grocery store. Sarah, a stay at home mom to three children, strived to make a difference and her dedication to Clay County is something to be proud of.
Sarah’s goal since day one has been to give back to her community and make the lives of her fellow Clay Countians a little easier. Small Town Market offers locally raised meats and produce, as well as baked goods from local baking companies. Sarah is always looking for ways to give back to her community.
“Sarah is more than a boss and business owner, I wish more people could understand and see that she is a great mom and wife as well. She truly cares about her employees and this town. She put in hours upon hours of work into the store and tries her hardest to accommodate everyone’s needs/wants. I am truly blessed to have her as a boss and role model,” says employee Sarah Bass when asked to give a little insight on her boss.
