On Sept. 17, Judge Richard A. Facemire, as Judge of the 14th Judicial Circuit, proclaimed the week of Sept. 17-23 to be Constitution Week in Braxton County.
Facemire signed the proclamation which stated, in part, that “September 17, 2016 marks the two hundred and twenty-ninth anniversary of the drafting of the Constitution of the United States of America by the Constitutional Convention.”
The proclamation also asked “citizens to reaffirm the ideals the Framers of the Constitution had in 1787 by studying the Constitution and reflecting on the privilege of being an American with all the rights and responsibilities which that privilege involves.
